Did you know WAPA was “born” on December 28, 1948? That means that this year will mark our organization’s 75th anniversary!
To mark the occasion, we’d like to do something extra special during our 64th Annual Conference and Business Meeting and we need your help.
Do you have any vintage documents or photographs from the early days that you can share with us? It could be anything – WAPA letterhead, paper copies or digital scans of newsletters, videos or photos of what asphalt paving used to look like… whatever you have, we’re interested in seeing it.
Please send everything to WAPA Executive Director Deb Schwerman by September 30.
And mark your calendar to attend WAPA’s event of the year from November 28-29 at the Kalahari Resort. Registration will open in September, and details on how to apply for WAPA’s scholarships and awards will be announced later this month.
