It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the news that Jack R. Mathews has passed away. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Jack served as WAPA’s Executive Director from 1977-1982 before moving on to the same role at the Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association. He was a tireless advocate for our industry, with a career dedicated to asphalt that spanned more than 40 years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
