This week, WAPA and thousands of other transportation professionals from all over the world are attending the annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board in Washington D.C.
The event offers a great opportunity for WAPA. With so many transportation policy-makers, scientists and practitioners in one place, we can advocate for Wisconsin’s interests, showcase our state’s leadership to a national audience, and represent our industry as pavement-related decisions and discussions take place.
This year, WAPA has a full schedule that includes informational sessions, where we’ll learn about cutting-edge technologies and practices that can benefit us here at home; and a variety of meetings with industry leaders to build relationships and further the interests of our members.
