- Safety every day. National Work Zone Awareness Week may be over, but safety for workers continues to be a high priority in Wisconsin throughout the year. Workers’ Memorial Day — held each year on April 28 — aims to bring awareness to the dangers workers face on the job, honor those killed over the past year, and call for stronger protections for all workers. Learn more about the 10th annual Workers’ Memorial Day Hard Hat Processional that took place last week.
