Roadway Quality Control Technician

The final quality of our roads depends on the roadway quality control technician.

Roadway QC technicians test materials at the paving site and inspect the hot mix asphalt placed on roads.

They test for compaction and ride quality and monitor for surface imperfections.

As advisers to the Paving Foreman and Plant Operator, their technical knowledge assures that our roads are safe, durable and high quality.
